What is Red Snapper Fish?
Red snappers are an overall rosy-red colour.
A large sized red snappers are called as Kendal and sevappu meen in shores, but in fish market it called as Sankara. This large sized red snapper is used to prepare continental dishes, grill, and other high class dishes n hotel. This fish tastes awesome, people who knows about this fish taste will never stop buying it again.
This species commonly inhabits waters from 30–200 ft(9.1–61.0 m) depth. They stay relatively close to the bottom and inhabit rocky bottoms, ledges, ridges and artificial reefs. They can be found all over the world,but most commonly at the western Atlantic Ocean including the Gulf of Mexico. 

What does it taste like?
It has a sweet, firm, white, textured flesh. It is a low-calorie, lean source of protein that is rich in selenium, vitamin A, potassium and omega-3 fatty acids.
